I’m Julia, a photographer and communication designer working across food, beverage, people, places and brands.

Originally from Berlin, Germany, now based in Calgary, Canada, I bring a European eye and a Canadian perspective to my work. With a background in communication design and years of experience as a photographer, I bring a strong sense of concept and visual storytelling to my work.

From haute cuisine to vegan, from fast food to beautifully crafted cocktails — food has always been a particular passion of mine, along with the people and places surrounding it. While the culinary world holds a special place in my work, I’m equally drawn to the stories behind brands, events and experiences — anything with a story to tell.
